Day 26 – Direct your own life using the simple science of habit

Let’s continue to reinforce our habit of believing through our review and the power of repetition…

Day 10:

Remember the science behind habit creation?

Every habit — whether it’s a belief, a thought you think, or a physical routine — contains these 3 elements: Cue, Routine, and Reward.

It’s a great idea at this point to review the cues, routines, and rewards you have set up regarding your habit to Affirm Your Truth.

Is the process working?

Can you identify the cues, routine, and rewards?

The cue for your daily affirmation habit is the reminder or alarm you have chosen to use that will happen like clock-work three times per day.

The Routine is the action of looking in the mirror and repeating, or just speaking out loud, or writing your key 5 to 10 affirmations.

The Reward is feeling good! And the satisfaction of knowing you are becoming a more powerful master of your mind with every small and simple act of good feeling repetition.

Day 11:

Remember what Maxwell Maltz said: “What we need to understand is that these habits, unlike addictions, can be modified, changed, or reversed, simply by taking the trouble to make a conscious decision — and then by practicing or ‘acting out’ the new response or behavior.”

We can and will create new automatic thought patterns and habits which change our entire experience in life.

And this applies to anything.

As Napoleon Hill reminds us, “Any idea, plan, or purpose may be placed in the mind through repetition of thought.

And then there’s my all-time favorite statement made by Napoleon Hill:

Every adversity, every failure, every heartache carries with it the seed of an equal or greater benefit.”

That statement was highly influential on creating the statement ‘Everything Is Conspiring For Your Benefit.’

Which was also influenced largely by the powerful statement in Romans 8:28: And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God.

Day 12:

Remember my experience with raising investment capital? It was the repeated affirmation that broke through the mental barriers holding me back from my goal.

You can apply this habit to Affirm Your Truth to literally have, be, or do whatever you strongly desire in life.

You get to decide much of what is true for you. Create your vision and your ideal. Believe it is possible. This becomes your truth. Then simply Affirm Your Truth and watch it materialize in your life.

Day 13:

Man is the master of thought, the molder of character, and the maker and shaper of condition, environment, and destiny.” – James Allen

Like it or not you have been constantly shaping your destiny.

Now you are consciously shaping your destiny more and more, and leaving less to the chance of subconscious shaping.


…“Your vision is the promise of what you shall one day be; your ideal is the prophecy of what you shall at last unveil.” – James Allen

See your ideal vision and continually affirm it so you don’t unconsciously revert to a vision you don’t want.
