Day 24 – What do you think about when you don’t have to think about anything?

We are on the homestretch of a powerful month of habit creation.

Now it is time to review where we have been, and re-emphasize the most important points we have covered together.

Doing this each day for our remaining days together will go a long way to solidifying these beliefs and locking them firmly in place in your subconscious mind. Stick with me this final week and you’ll be very glad you did!

So here we go…

Day 1:

This is the most important habit of all the 12 habits of a Truly Amazing Life: Affirm Your Truth.

It is the key to the critical pillar of BELIEVING that, ‘This Is A Truly Amazing Life’ and ‘Everything Is Conspiring For Your Benefit’.

This is the basis of positive thinking and a positive attitude.

Belief is the root of faith…and faith is power

“By small and simple things are great things brought to pass.”

Small things make a MASSIVE difference.

Distractions are the destroyers of your dreams.

Day 2:

“You become what you think about.” – Earl Nightingale

Be aware of what you are thinking about and be intentional in your thoughts all the time.

Since you become what you think about, remember to ask yourself, “What am I thinking about? What am I becoming?”

Are you filling your mind with things you want to become?

This is the crucial question to consider:

What do you think about when you don’t have to think about anything?

Do you turn first to filling your mind with the latest of other people’s Twitter or Facebook posts?

Or do you default to checking your email or the latest news?

I’m not suggesting any of those sources of information are inherently detrimental, but I do think it’s worth paying attention to how you feel and asking the question, “Am I thinking about what I want to become?”

Day 3:

Make sure your short list of affirmations is going with you everywhere! Carry a notebook, or write them in a note taking app in your phone.

Set a reminder!

You need either an alarm set on your phone, or a daily routine which you can add the affirmation routine to.

Are your reminders working for you?

If not, it’s never too late to adjust them and try something else. Be open to finding the thing that works great for you!

Day 4:

It’s good to start building your BIG list of truths to affirm.

Repeating some or all of them daily at least once is a great thing to do throughout life, in addition to your focused effort on your key 5 to 10 affirmations short list.

Feel free to use my list of affirmations, change it, expand on it, whatever you want.

You can download my entire list of affirmations on the Affirm Your Truth Resources Page.’

And finally…write your key affirmations daily at least once.

There is something very powerful about the act of physically writing your beliefs.

Keep on affirming your truth!

Make today amazing!
