How did you feel yesterday?
Did you get emotional?
Getting yourself worked up with positive emotion is awesome. Not only is it the way to increase belief, but it immediately increases your quality of life!
If you feel amazing right now, isn’t that all you truly want in life anyway?
Belief is power.
Faith is power.
“We walk by faith, not by sight.” – 2 Corinthians 5:7, The New Testament
This is a great affirmation to add to your list if you were to add one. It is definitely on my list:
I walk by Faith, not by sight.
It is a very good thing to convince yourself that faith is how you live your life.
But let’s talk more about your vision. The amazing author and coach Bob Proctor said, “You must be able to see yourself, with your inner eye, already in possession of the good you desire.”
First you must see it clearly in your mind.
Each day as you affirm and visualize, you will clarify your vision of yourself already having and being what you desire.
We become what we see inside.
Maxwell Maltz confirms this also. In Psycho-cybernetics he said: “Our self image, strongly held, essentially determines what we become.”
Maxwell’s story is fascinating.
He was a plastic surgeon, who realized that many of his clients could not actually benefit from feeling better about themselves using plastic surgery, because as long as their self-image didn’t change, nothing could help them.
Some people he treated had success with plastic surgery, because changing what they saw in the mirror actually enabled them to change their self-image.
But for the majority it didn’t work that way.
This led him to completely change fields altogether and focus on helping people change their inner self-image rather than just transforming their outer image.
He did amazing work and through his books continues to help many people change their inner-image and totally enhance their quality and enjoyment of life.
What we are working on is purposely changing our own self-image.
That is why we are repeating powerful, lofty ideals of ourselves, multiple times per day with feeling.
W. Clement Stone said something really important on this: “Self-suggestion makes you master of yourself.”
You master yourself by creating your own self-image.
You create your own self-image through ‘self-suggestion.’
Self-suggestion = Affirmation
Affirmations make you master of yourself!
BE a master of yourself.
Affirm your truth with all your heart.
As you can tell, I’m going to keep hammering this point every day for 30 days…you will thank me for it later! Or quite possibly you’re already thanking me for it…I have received dozens and dozens of emails of gratitude for this transformative help from people who have only been one week into the process.
I wish someone had helped me focus on this simple practice 10 or 20 years ago.
But I’m grateful to know now…and I’ll keep affirming my truth daily. How about you?Keep it up!
You are awesome. You can do it.
Make Today Amazing!
