Did you decide there is no such thing as a bad day for you anymore? I really hope so. Or perhaps you have long since decided that.
Either way, I know you will be able to experience so much more joy in life once you have decided to see every day as good and to seek the benefit to be gained in all things. You see, all you have to do is to DECIDE that every single thing that happens in your life is for your benefit and you will find a benefit in all things.
Many people think I’m crazy when I tell them that it’s not only possible, but easy, to never have another bad day again. That’s because they think what I mean by ‘bad day’ is that I’m saying that nothing hard will ever occur again in their life.
That’s not what I’m saying.
In fact I embrace challenges and trials and I encourage all people to do the same. Challenges are key to growth, progress and fulfillment. If there were no challenges, life would not be fulfilling nor joyful.
What I am saying is this:
Your interpretation of the day is completely independent from the circumstances of the day.
Things are only good or bad for you if you decide they are good or bad. So why would you classify an entire day as bad? Do you want your days to be bad? Of course not!
So just decide that they are good! That’s all.
For me, every single thing that happens in my life is for my benefit. Every person that comes into my life, every interaction I have, EVERYTHING is for my good.
So there is no such thing as a bad day in my life. Days are inherently good. Life is good. God is good. The universe is good. Everything is conspiring for my benefit.
And we can simply choose not to believe otherwise anymore, because any belief opposite that doesn’t serve us. That is not to say that if we were to sense ourselves in danger we don’t seek to protect ourselves. Or that knowing that all things work to our good is going to absolutely stop all people out there from ever trying to harm us in some way.
We don’t decide for other people.
Just as they do not decide for us. If someone sought to harm us, we still have the freedom to choose to find a benefit to that circumstance.
Today is an amazing day! What good and amazing things will you seek and find today in your circumstances?
As I was running this morning I heard this quote from Esther & Jerry Hicks on one of their audio programs:
“To show someone how to align with their source in the face of circumstances that do not easily inspire it, is the most valuable guidance you can ever offer to another.”
Hearing that statement was a loud and clear direct answer for me to my question of “where is the good in this pain I am experiencing?”
Because of my experiences, I know that regardless of our circumstances we can align to our source and feel joy by consciously directing our thoughts. I sincerely hope that sharing my experience with you has shown you in some way that the same is possible for you and that you can always connect to your source and guide your own life as well.
