Day 26 – “Our self-image and our habits tend to go together.”

This one is really fascinating and is why this habit we are working on is like a double, or triple, or infinite whammy!

We are establishing the habit of high self-esteem!

This habit will literally snowball and spread out and drastically affect every area of our life.

By establishing this high image of ourselves, meaning we are deeply connected with our TRUE self, all other negative habits tend to just slip away over time without a huge struggle.

When you Remember Who You Are you change your self-image.

You remember that you are truly amazing!

You remember that you are powerful!

You remember that you are beautiful, loving, compassionate, kind, smart, and infinitely capable!

You remember that you are connected to the source of all creation and you are a part of that creation, endowed with its power.

For me, that is embodied in this belief and remembrance: I am a child of God.

We tend to forget who we truly are, and so our self-image — or the picture we believe ourselves to be — fades into one of unworthiness, smallness, incapability, and weakness.

If those are the images we see inside, we have forgotten who we are.

Only in that state of forgetfulness do we struggle against negative habits, escape mechanisms, and addictions.

When we believe those lies of weakness and incapability to be true, then our actions are guided by falsehood.

I’m sure you’ve noticed those times when you know logically you don’t want to do that thing that is harming you, but for some reason you can’t stop yourself!

It’s because subconsciously you were holding onto some lie about yourself that drove your behavior on autopilot.

But when we remember who we truly are we are free!

Then the negative patterns can fall away.

But what’s the key to staying in this place of freedom?

THE KEY IS TO ALWAYS REMEMBER!

This habit we have created is the best way to ensure that.

Do whatever it takes to keep this habit forever.

Because as long as you Remember Who You Are, your self-image will be high, and you will be living a Truly Amazing Life.
